$5m fund from BNZ hits the Sweetspot

December 13, 2022

Having the Money Sweetspot kaupapa is one thing, but for us to help everyday Kiwi take control of their financial lives also takes pūtea (money).

That’s where our foundation funding partner BNZ comes in.

Today we’re beyond chuffed to announce we’ve finalised a three-year agreement with BNZ for a $5 million fund in support of our mission.

Money Sweetspot co-founder Sasha Lockley says the timing is perfect. “Christmas is a time when families often find themselves overwhelmed by debt and under pressure to take on even more. Our agreement with BNZ means we now have funds to lend and can start helping people get on top of unmanageable debt rather than be defined by it.”

With this essential source of funding in place, Money Sweetspot is now taking applications for its first group of customers at https://www.moneysweetspot.co.nz/apply

Money Sweetspot is a rewarding new way for everyday, imperfect humans to take charge of their financial life, reduce debts and get on with living. The special thing about Money Sweetspot is that your value is based on more than just your bank balance. By making smart financial moves our customers will pay even less interest and pay their loans off more quickly. Sweet!
